Supply Chain & Operations Manager Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 We are seeking an experienced and driven Supply Chain & Operations Manager to lead and optimise end-to-end operational performance across planning, procurement, inventory, and logistics functions. Key Responsibilities • Ensure customer requirements are met while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, cost, and delivery. • Lead and manage change, driving continuous improvement across operations. • Provide clear direction and inspire teams to work collaboratively towards shared objectives. • Develop agile, cross-functional teams that are accountable, adaptable, and customer-focused. • Oversee resource planning to align capacity with fluctuating workloads and business demands. • Ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and adherence to operational standards and systems. Supply Chain & Planning • Oversee production and repair scheduling to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery. • Align schedules with capacity, materials availability, and customer priorities. • Manage procurement activities, ensuring timely supply of materials from internal and external suppliers. • Maintain optimal inventory levels in line with demand forecasts and business targets. • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery expectations. Logistics & Inventory Management • Lead all logistics operations, including inbound, internal, and outbound flows. • Ensure efficient storage, handling, and distribution of materials and finished goods. • Oversee inventory control processes, including forecasting, stock accuracy, and audits. • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs and shipping requirements. Leadership & Team Development • Maintain a safe and compliant working environment in line with HSE standards. • Set clear performance objectives aligned with business goals. • Develop team capability through training, coaching, and career development planning. • Foster a positive working culture through effective communication and leadership. Continuous Improvement • Monitor operational performance using KPIs and implement corrective actions where needed. • Lead and contribute to improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and service delivery. • Ensure compliance with established processes while identifying opportunities to optimise standards.
