Recent experience teaching or completing placements within a UK Year 1 or Year 2 classroom, demonstrating a strong grasp of the KS1 National Curriculum. • Phonics Proficiency: Proven confidence delivering systematic synthetic phonics (e.g., Read Write Inc., Little Wandle) to prepare pupils effectively for the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check. • Recognised Teaching Qualification: Must hold UK QTS (or be on track for completion before September 2026).
