Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Are you compassionate, dedicated, and looking to make a real difference in the life of young people? We are seeking Support Worker to join our team, providing person-centred care to People We Support with complex health needs and those who need social support or community access. About the Role: As a member of one of our care teams, you will support young boys and girls with Learning Difficulties, ADHD, Complex Care Needs or Autism in the family home or out in the community. Current shift pattern: Day Shifts - 10 to 20 hours per week depending on your flexibility. Shifts can be any day of the week between Monday and Sunday. Start and finish times can also be flexible. Additional hours are available during non-term time. Your role is to provide safe, high quality, and compassionate care. Duties include (tasks may vary depending on the needs of the Person We Support): • Personal care and daily living support • Proving complex care support and interventions • Promoting independence and emotional well-being • Keeping the young people safe • Supporting social and community activities • Support with school term time hours • Accurate record-keeping Requirements: • Previous care experience (preferred) • Previous complex care experience desirable, but full training provided • Experience of supporting people with challenging behaviour (desirable) • A caring and reliable nature • Excellent communication skills • Willingness to undertake specialist training • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Flexibility Potential Benefits: • Competitive pay rates • Training and ongoing supervision • Opportunity to build a rewarding career in care • Supportive team and 24/7 on-call support If you are passionate about delivering high quality care and want to be part of a supportive team that truly values its staff, we’d love to hear from you!
