Syndicated Loans Loan IQ - Hays

We are seeking an experienced Syndicated Loans Operations Specialist to join a busy banking operations team on a contract basis (12 months). This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of syndicated loan administration, LoanIQ processing and LMA standards, who can confidently support the full lifecycle of loan transactions in an international environment. Key responsibilities • Review syndicated loan agreements from an operational perspective, ensuring key mechanics and requirements are clearly understood. • Process and approve daily loan activity in LoanIQ, including drawdowns, rollovers, repayments and fees, in line with notices received from agent banks. • Book new deals in LoanIQ from inception through to settlement, ensuring accurate and timely operational execution. • Liaise daily with Treasury, Accounting and Risk Management colleagues to manage loan transactions, resolve queries and support smooth processing. Skills and experience required • Proven experience within syndicated loans, ideally gained in loan administration or loan operations. • Strong familiarity with LMA standards and syndicated loan documentation. • Experience closing and booking primary transactions and supporting secondary trading activity would be advantageous. • Excellent English communication skills, with the confidence to collaborate with colleagues and external partners in an international environment. • A strong team ethic, excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
