Tax Assistant

Robert Half is recruiting for an Interim Tax Assistant for our client in East Hertfordshire. The position will be for an initial period of 3-4 months, although this could extend. The position of Interim Tax Assistant will be varied and has the following key requirements • Gather and organise information from clients • Prepare and file personal tax returns • Assist with HMRC communications and ensure deadlines are met. • Support tax manager with larger projects. • Aid clients with the MTD process • Aid tax manager with trust work • Part qualified / Qualified / QBE / AAT / ATT all considered • Strong academic background • Hands-on approach • Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines • Accountancy Practice background preferable • Personal tax returns experience essential The position of Interim Tax Assistant is paying competitively on an hourly rate basis, will be 100% office based and is considered an urgent requirement to begin asap.
