Tax Director

A growing accountancy practice based in Wells, Somerset has a requirement for a Tax Director to join the team as key addition. You will have opportunity to lead and develop the firms tax advisory function with a private client, personal tax focus, whilst with potential for mixed tax work along side this along with a smaller element of compliance management, with a clear path to progress on offer as a key addition. Client Details A leading and reputable firm of chartered accountants in Wells undergoing continued positive growth. The firm acts for a very wide ranging client base. You will be looking to focus on advisory tax delivery and develop the firms private client offering and department and take a lead role in this. There is a clear path on offer to progress for those seeking longer term potential as well. The firm offers a very flexible, team focused culture with hybrid working. Description You will join the firm as a Tax Director delivering personal tax and advisory services to a wide ranging client base of directors of owner-managed businesses, property clients, HNWI's and other clients. You will take a client fronting role overseeing the provision of advisory services across a wide spectrum of personal tax issues, IHT, EIS, Share Schemes, CGT etc. You will lead and influence your team and look to drive the development of tax services in this firm. You will develop the relationships, contacts and networks to bolster their tax service line offering further. Profile You are likely to be at least a highly experienced Senior Tax Manager professional, or already an established, salaried Associate Director. or Tax Director level professional and will be any of ACA, ACCA, ATT, CTA or STEP qualified as a tax advisory focused professional. Your background may be within any of Top Tier, Ten accountancy practice environment, Mid-Tier/Top 50 or large, medium, small independent firm background and you will be seeking a challenging new career opportunity as a key addition within a growing firm of independent accountants Job Offer £70,000 - £95,000 + negotiable, dependent on the experience, background and level of the right professional, negotiable, plus benefits.
