The Opportunity Based in Manchester, these roles offer the opportunity to lead high-value tax investigation and dispute engagements while playing an important role in developing client relationships and growing a successful tax practice. You will advise clients through complex HMRC matters, lead teams of specialists and work alongside Partners and senior stakeholders on challenging and commercially important cases. Key Responsibilities • Leading complex HMRC investigations, enquiries and tax dispute engagements. • Providing strategic advice to clients on investigation approach and resolution. • Managing senior client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser. • Developing and mentoring tax investigations professionals. • Supporting Partners with complex advisory and controversy matters. • Driving business development and contributing to practice growth. • Supporting the continued development of the tax investigations offering. About You I am keen to speak with professionals who have: • Extensive experience in tax investigations, tax disputes, tax controversy or HMRC enquiries. • ACA, CTA qualification or equivalent experience. • Strong technical and commercial tax knowledge. • Experience leading teams and managing complex engagements. • Proven client relationship and business development skills. • The ability to operate at Director level within a professional services environment.
