Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager - Cheshire/North West | Up to £70,000 Our client, a well-established and highly respected accountancy practice based in the North West, is looking to appoint an experienced Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional to take ownership of a varied and interesting portfolio, including high-net-worth individuals, owner-managed businesses, landlords and trusts. The role offers a genuine blend of compliance and advisory work, along with a high degree of autonomy and real scope for career progression. The Role: • Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients as their main point of contact • Deliver both compliance and advisory services across a range of tax matters • Build and maintain long-term relationships as a trusted adviser • Handle HMRC enquiries and investigations • Collaborate closely with colleagues across the wider firm About You: • Strong personal tax background gained in practice, with exposure to advisory work for individuals and OMBs • CTA/ATT qualified, or qualified by experience • Trusts experience desirable but not essential • Confident managing your own portfolio with strong communication and relationship-building skills What's on Offer: • Salary up to £70,000, dependent on experience • 23 days holiday plus bank holidays • Free parking and performance/new business incentives • Genuine support for professional development and long-term progression • The chance to shape and grow the role over time Excellent transport, with easy commuting from across Cheshire, Merseyside and South Manchester.
