Job description

Zest Education is currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher with expertise in Spanish to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in collaboration with a well-established school in Coventry starting in September 2026, on a part-time basis (3-4 days a week). As the chosen candidate, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and motivate KS3 and KS4 students, ensuring that the curriculum is taught in innovative and stimulating ways. Key responsibilities: - Plan and teach engaging lessons that motivate the students in your subject and cater to the needs of diverse learners - Mark and assess students work and track student progression - Have excellent curriculum knowledge that continues to develop - particularly the new and engaging ways to teach MFL - Have strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. To apply for this role, you will need: • QTS - Qualified Teacher status in Modern Foreign Languages (ECT’s, formerly known as NQT’s, are encouraged to apply) • Excellent subject knowledge of MFL in Key Stages 3 (KS3) and 4 (KS4) is essential • Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills • A strong school reference from your recent employer/placement • If you are a dedicated and enthusiastic MFL Teacher looking to make a real impact in education, we invite you to apply. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
