Salary:£1,800 - £2,200 per month

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Barking and Dagenham is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils across the classroom, working closely with teachers to help children engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. You will provide support on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, and during whole-class activities, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Support teaching and learning across the classroom
• Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
• Encourage positive behaviour and active participation in lessons
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to meet pupils' individual needs
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
RequirementsEssential:
• GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
• Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, patient, and enthusiastic approach
Desirable:
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
• Knowledge of SEN and intervention support
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Degree in Education, Psychology, or a related subject
