Position: Primary Teaching Assistant Location: Handsworth, B19 We are currently looking for a dedicated and passionate Primary Teaching Assistant to work for one of our schools based in Handsworth and other schools located in Birmingham and surrounding areas.The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to cover day to day supply, short-term bookings and long-term roles. As a Primary Teaching Assistant your main responsibilities will consist of: • Not only supporting pupils educational development but also managing and supporting the classroom alongside the designated teacher • Creating a positive and engaging atmosphere in the classroom • Providing tailored assistance for SEND pupils • Monitoring students and reporting to designated teacher when needed • De-escalating behavioural conflicts and recognising good behaviour in accordance with the schools policies Teaching Assistant Requirements: • Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service) • Relevant qualifications or experience • Willingness to complete relevant training continually when needed If the role of being a teaching assistant with our agency interests you, please do not hesitate to contact Alina at Academics LTD on or alternatively apply through this advert.
