Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools Location: Cambridge and surrounding areas Start Date: September 2026 Pay Rate: £14.24 - £15.00 per hour Inspire Young Minds as a Teaching Assistant Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of welcoming primary schools across Cambridge from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive impact in the classroom. Key Responsibilities • Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons. • Work with small groups and individual pupils to support learning. • Assist with classroom preparation and organisation. • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement. • Support pupils with varying learning needs. • Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. Requirements • Previous experience working with children is desirable. • A positive, patient, and proactive attitude. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team. • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one. • Relevant education or childcare qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
