This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs. No previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is required, making this a great opportunity for those looking to start a career in education. Day-to-day of the role: • Support children aged 7 to 16 years who have Autism (ASD), ADHD, Social and Emotional Mental Health Issues (SEMH), or communication issues. • Assist in the development and implementation of educational and behavioural plans. • Work closely with teachers and other staff to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment. • Monitor and support the children’s social and academic progress. • Engage with children in a variety of educational activities designed to enhance their learning and well-being. Required Skills & Qualifications: • A positive mindset and a willingness to support children with Special Educational Needs. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Must be a driver with access to a vehicle due to the rural location of the school. • Ideal candidates will be from nearby locations such as Chichester, Petersfield, Havant, or Midhurst.
