Teaching Assistant (Level 3 Qualified) Location: Slade Green, Bexley Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only Inspire Young Minds and Make a Real Difference Are you a passionate and committed Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a welcoming and ambitious primary school? We are working with a highly regarded primary school in the Bexley area seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and other support staff to help deliver high-quality learning experiences, provide targeted interventions, and support pupils both academically and socially. The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will: • Support teaching and learning across the primary age range. • Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning objectives. • Assist in creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment. • Support pupils with varying learning needs to access the curriculum effectively. • Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil independence. • Help prepare learning resources and classroom activities. • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress. • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues. What We're Looking For To be considered for this position, you must: • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). • Have previous experience working within a primary school setting. • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Be patient, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting children's development. • Have a positive and proactive approach to learning and behaviour support. • Be able to work effectively as part of a team. • Have a genuine passion for helping children achieve their best.
