Teaching Assistant Location: Wandsworth, Battersea Position: Teaching Assistant Start Date: September Pay: £1,851-£2,650 per month An OFSTED 'Good' school in Wandsworth is offering a fantastic opportunity for a teaching assistant to join their supportive team and develop valuable skills within the education sector, working within a mainstream classroom and supporting SEN students as a teaching assistant. Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant: • Working with children aged 2-6 in both indoor and outdoor classes • Supporting child-initiated learning • Helping children with special educational needs • Engaging with students through three different sessions throughout the day • Treating children with respect and kindness as a Teaching Assistant Job Requirements for a Teaching Assistant: • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service • Interest in working with children, specifically those with SEN • Experience working in childcare, either informally or formally • Right to work in the UK Desirable: • An honours degree (preferably a 2:1 or above) or equivalent If you would like to be considered for this Teaching Assistant opportunity, please send your application.
