Teaching Assistant Location: Islington, North London Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Full-time | Term-Time Only Salary: £95-£105 a day Are you passionate about supporting young people in their education and helping them thrive in the classroom? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Islington. Key Responsibilities: • Provide classroom support to teachers across a range of subjects • Work with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to support learning • Assist in preparing classroom resources and materials • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment • Support students with additional needs to ensure they have full access to the curriculum The Ideal Candidate: • Has experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable but not essential) • Is patient, proactive, and adaptable • Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills • Is passionate about education and supporting young people • Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one) Whether you're an experienced TA or a recent graduate considering a career in education, this role could be the perfect next step for you.
