Earn £200 in shopping vouchers for Successful recommendations Click on the link for more information - Teaching Assistant Level 2 Job description: • Daily Rate: £14.63 p/hr • Location: Blackburn, BB1 • Job Type: Full-time, Temporary Reed/ Lancashire teaching agency are seeking a Teaching AssistantLevel 2 for a temporary position starting from September 2026 and is expected to last for the academic year! The role is required for 5 days per week from 08:45 – 15:30. Day-to-day of the role: • Main duties include working with an EYFS/KS1 class with pupils diagnosed with ASD and non-vebal. • Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily lessons. • Provide support to individual students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete their tasks. • Work under the guidance of the class teacher to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. • Help manage classroom resources and setup for activities. • Supervise students during non-classroom times including lunch and recess as needed. • Contribute to the monitoring and recording of student progress. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Must hold a Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. • Experience in a similar role within a school setting is preferred. • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with children. • Good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team. • A commitment to professional growth and development.
