Role: Teaching Assistant Location: Salford (M27 + outreach to other local schools) Pay: £14.25 to £16.65 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:00pm (one day until 4:00pm) Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm Start Date: Sept 2026 Driving Licence: Essential Reeson Education are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to take on a full-time, temp-to-perm role in a supportive setting based in the Salford area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who has a passion for helping pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. The Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will: • Provide one-to-one SEMH support for a pupil aged 11-14 with emotional needs who has recently suffered an injury. • Deliver group support sessions to other pupils with SEMH needs, encouraging engagement and positive participation. • Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral leads, and external professionals to ensure every pupil has access to the right support. • Undertake outreach work across nearby school sites in the Salford area - therefore a driving licence is essential. About You: We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Teaching Assistant who can build strong relationships and offer both emotional and practical support. To be considered for this Teaching Assistant role, you must: • Have prior experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs. • Be confident providing both one-to-one support and small group interventions. • Hold a valid UK driving licence (essential for outreach responsibilities). • Be available to work full-time, Monday to Friday.
