We are the North Yorkshire NHS Talking Therapies Service, a Primary Care Service that provides therapeutic interventions for individuals with common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression. Our talented and compassionate teams work in partnership with our patients, communities and partners to help the people of our region feel safe, understood, believed in and cared for whilst aiming to provide timely treatment. Were committed to new thinking that improves the wellbeing of our region. We connect with our communities and partners to get mental health care right, in areas that really need it. The successful applicant will ideally have an awareness of mental health issues and will be able to demonstrate a caring and sensitive approach to their work. They will have an eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy. They will be able to effectively and clearly communicate with colleagues, service users and their families, along with external agencies in order to support the team. The NHS Talking Therapies team offers out of hours appointments so the flexibility to work evening hours to support clinicians is essential.
