Team Leader

Here at GXO, we're recruiting for a Team Leader to join our Mountain Warehouse operation in Peterborough. This is a full-time, permanent role, working any 5 from 7 days, 14:00 – 22:00, where you'll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of warehouse operations and leading your team to deliver outstanding results. Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of £29,966.82 per annum and 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day: • • Lead and coordinate warehouse colleagues across your designated area, ensuring productivity, accuracy, quality and service levels are consistently achieved • Allocate labour and resources effectively to meet operational priorities, customer requirements and daily performance targets • Monitor team performance, providing coaching, support and feedback to drive engagement, development and continuous improvement • Promote a strong health & safety culture, ensuring compliance with safe systems of work, company procedures and operational standards • Utilise warehouse management systems and operational reporting to track performance, identify opportunities and support effective decision-making What you need to succeed at GXO: • • Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or similar warehouse leadership role within a fast-paced logistics environment • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate teams and drive high levels of performance • Experience working with warehouse management systems and operational KPIs to manage productivity and service delivery • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively • A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with a strong commitment to customer service, continuous improvement and operational excellence We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
