As a Team Supervisor based in Bedford, youll be responsible for: • Assisting the Branch Manager with the day to day running and operations within the branch and take charge when they are not available • Supervise and support colleagues, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to achieve targets and goals • Serving customers on the trade counter, offering advice and product knowledge • Develop the customer base, improve retention, satisfaction, product mix and range • Identify and recommend ways to improve profits • Building rapport with suppliers • General warehouse duties including, goods in & out, picking and packing customer orders (this will involve manual handling heavy stock i.e., toilets, sinks, boilers and radiators • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm and Saturday on a rota basis 08.00am - 12.00pm. And heres what wed like you to have to be a successful Team Supervisor. • Previous industry or merchant experience is preferable • Prior experience in a Face to Face customer service/sales environment is essential • Willingness to step up to run the branch in the Branch Managers absence • Someone who is comfortable making outbound sales calls to customers • To be a team player who is happy to take on a diverse role to carry out all jobs in the branch to ensure it runs smoothly • Keenness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic We look forward to receiving your application! #ACHS150
