Technical Director

Technical Director Northamptonshire | Office-Based | Excellent Salary + Benefits We're partnering with a specialist engineering business looking for an experienced Technical Director to lead the technical direction of its Automated Test Equipment (ATE) division. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll act as the senior authority across complex ATE projects, working closely with customers, leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, and shaping innovative test solutions from concept through to delivery. What we're looking for: • Extensive Automated Test Equipment (ATE) industry experience (essential) • Strong technical background in the design and development of ATE systems • Experience designing test systems, fixtures and integration solutions • Good understanding of electronic hardware, mechanical design, and LabVIEW/TestStand • Ability to interpret customer specifications and develop practical, commercially viable technical solutions • Previous experience leading engineering teams and engaging directly with customers This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing engineering business where you'll have real influence over technical strategy, project delivery and future innovation.
