Are you an experienced sales professional who knows how to win business through competitive tenders, frameworks and strategic account development? We're looking for a commercially driven Tender & Framework Sales Manager to drive new business growth across our South Service division. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys identifying opportunities before they reach tender stage, building strong customer relationships and leading winning bid submissions. Working closely with the Sales Director, you'll combine proactive business development with bid and tender management to secure long-term lift maintenance contracts across both the public and private sectors. The Role You will be responsible for identifying, developing and securing new maintenance business through a combination of proactive sales activity, framework opportunities and competitive tender submissions. Working with internal stakeholders across Sales, Operations and Engineering, you'll manage the entire sales process from opportunity identification through to contract award and handover. Key Responsibilities • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities across the South region. • Generate sales opportunities through networking, relationship building, market research and prospecting. • Build relationships with procurement teams, consultants, estates managers, FM providers and key decision-makers. • Monitor tender portals and procurement pipelines to identify upcoming opportunities. • Develop a robust pipeline of future contract renewals and framework opportunities. • Lead the complete bid process, including PQQs, ITTs, framework submissions and presentations. • Produce compelling, customer-focused tender responses that maximise win rates. • Coordinate technical, commercial and operational input to produce high-quality submissions. • Develop competitive pricing strategies alongside commercial and operational teams. • Lead tender clarification meetings, negotiations and customer presentations. • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting, sales forecasts and tender activity. • Ensure successful mobilisation and handover of awarded contracts. What We're Looking For • Proven success in business development, technical sales or bid management within a B2B environment. • Demonstrable experience winning contracts through competitive tenders and framework agreements. • Strong bid writing skills with the ability to produce persuasive, customer-focused submissions. • Experience managing the full bid life cycle from opportunity qualification to contract award. • Commercially minded with excellent negotiation and influencing skills. • Strong relationship builder with experience engaging senior stakeholders. • Highly organised and able to manage multiple tenders and sales opportunities simultaneously. • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to generating new business.
