Tendering Engineer (66kv-132kv) Our client, a leader in the power utilities and renewable energy sector, is currently seeking a Tendering Engineer (66kv-132kv) to join their team. This permanent position plays a pivotal role in the preparation and submission of high-quality proposals for power distribution projects, especially in the 66kv to 132kv range. Multiple positions which offer hybrid / remote working and within the non regulated industry (BESS, Solar, Indistrial, Wind, Data Centre and Light Rail) x1South x1 Midlands and x1 North located Key Responsibilities: • Preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals • Estimating costs and creating comprehensive bid documents • Collaborating with engineering and project management teams to gather necessary information • Reviewing tender specifications and identifying technical requirements • Conducting thorough analyses of tender documentation • Assessing project risks and creating mitigation strategies • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitor activities • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations Job Requirements: • Experience in preparing and managing proposals within the power utilities or renewable energy sector • Strong understanding of power distribution networks, particularly in the 66kv to 132kv range • Proficiency in cost estimating and financial analysis • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to interpret complex technical documents • Effective communication and collaboration skills • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification Benefits: • Paying up to £85k • Vehicle allowance or vehicle • 2 days holiday plus Bank Holidays • Pension Contribution • Monday to Friday 40hrs per week • Remote / Hybrid working set up (office visit essential, when required) • Opportunities to work on a variety of challenging projects • Professional development and training opportunities • Supportive and collaborative work environment • Comprehensive employee benefits package If you are an experienced Tendering Engineer looking for a new opportunity to leverage your expertise in the power distribution and renewables sector, we would love to hear from you.
