Test Engineer

Test Engineer Up to £55,000 We are recruiting a Test Engineer to join a global organisation undergoing a significant digital transformation, investing heavily in modern data platforms and enterprise technology. This role sits within a growing global IT and data function and will play a key part in improving the quality, reliability and consistency of outputs across engineering teams. This is a hands-on testing role with a strong focus on data validation, integration testing and end-to-end quality assurance across applications and data platforms. You will work closely with Development Leads and Business Analysts to ensure solutions are thoroughly tested and meet business requirements before reaching production. Responsibilities • Execute end-to-end functional and integration testing across applications, APIs and data platforms • Validate data pipelines (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric) ensuring accuracy and consistency • Partner with Developers and Business Analysts on test planning, scenario creation and early validation • Perform SQL-based data validation and defect investigation • Run regression, performance and business simulation testing • Ensure testing coverage across Power Platform applications, Dataverse and SharePoint environments Skills and Experience • Proven experience in a Test Engineer / QA / Test Analyst role • Strong SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting • Experience testing across Power Platform (PowerApps, Dataverse), SharePoint and APIs • Exposure to Azure data technologies (ADF, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric) • Ability to design structured test cases, scenarios and test cycles • Strong analytical and communication skills What's on Offer • Salary up to £55,000 • Performance related bonus plans • Enhanced company pension schemes • Hybrid working in central London, 3 days in office • Strong focus on career development and progression Tenth Revolution Group are the go-to recruiter for Data & AI roles in the UK, offering more opportunities nationwide than any other recruitment agency.
