Lead Theatre Practitioner - Endoscopy The Beardwood Hospital 37.5 Hours & Permanent Competitive Salary(depending on level of experience, training and qualification) The Beardwood HospitalIs part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Lead Theatre Practitionerto join their team of staff in thetheatredepartment. This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern. Duties of this role include: • Lead the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care across the perioperative pathway, acting as a specialist or functional lead within the team. • Ensure that all patient safety checks, including WHO surgical safety processes, are carried out in accordance with hospital policy. • Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision for theatre practitioners and support staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, compassion, and accountability. • Support the development and assessment of competencies within the team, promoting continuous professional development. • Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their rights, safety, and dignity are upheld at all times. • Raise concerns where standards of care or safeguarding protocols are not met, in line with Circle Health Group policy.
