We’re looking for a Toolmaker/Precision Grinder to join our clients growing team in Aldershot! We are looking for an experienced Toolmaker / Precision Grinder to join our skilled engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on machinist with a strong background in manual and CNC machining, particularly in precision grinding. Toolmaker/Precision Grinder Salary up to £39,000 Mon-Thurs 07.30 to 16.00. Fri 07.30 to hour working week + Overtime available Permanent Aldershot, Hampshire Toolmaker/Precision Grinder Job Description • Carry out precision grinding to tight tolerances using a variety of grinding techniques such as surface grinding, ring grinding, honing, cylindrical grinding • Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications. • Inspect finished components using a range of precision measuring equipment. Toolmaker/Precision Grinder Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications • Experience as a skilled manual/CNC machinist, toolmaker, or toolroom engineer. • Strong precision grinding experience across multiple grinding disciplines. • The ability to work to fine tolerances with excellent attention to detail.
