Job description

We are looking for someone to assist the Quantity Surveying team in managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in quantity surveying, offering hands-on experience with project cost control, procurement, and contract administration. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, take accountability for their responsibilities, and show the ambition and ability to grow within the business. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents. • Support with the valuation of works completed on site and prepare interim payment applications. • Assist in identifying and managing variations and change orders. • Help maintain accurate records for project cost tracking. • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients under supervision. • Assist in procurement of sub-contractors and materials. • Support with final account preparation and settlement. • Contribute to risk, value management, and cost control processes. • Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards. Skills & Competencies: • Strong numerical and analytical skills. • Excellent attention to detail. • Good communication and interpersonal abilities. • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. • Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
