Job description

A really good opportunity to work for an already well established commercial catering equipment installer who are going through a growth spurt. Very well liked in the industry and can could some very large catering companies as clients they sub for. The company’s main aim is to get continuous work from clients and fore that they always need to be doing a great job, and for THAST they need to be employing the best kind of engineers – engineers who take pride in their work. Due to expansion they are recruiting for a trainee commercial catering equipment installation engineer you will be • Getting trained up on installing commercial catering equipment – gas, electrical, water • Working on new build and full refurb projects – restaurants, care homes, hotels etc • Working most of the time in the London area with some work being in Essex borders – meeting the engineers on site at 8am • trained up on installing the equipment and putting in the relevant connecting pipe or plumbing works as well as connecting electrical and commissioning the equipment • Working on larger jobs so you could be on the same site for a week to 4 weeks at a time – 8am on site so finishing mid afternoon • You’ll be shadowed by another engineer initially so you can find your feet Skills needed to be a trainee commercial catering equipment installation engineer • Living anywhere in or around the north London, east London or Essex area • Plumbing and pipe work skills needed as well as minimum level 2 plumbing • Experience on any commercial pipe work would be a benefits but is not essential • Need to be fit and healthy as installing this equipment can involve some moderate lifting • This would ideally suit someone with plumbing work experience who wants a career change Salary and Benefits of a trainee commercial catering equipment installation engineer • 30-35k basic salary depending on experience • Train card to get to the site – a van will be supplied once you are fully trained up • Workplace pension • 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays • Great training on installing commercial catering equipment and further certificates For an immediate interview contact Adam Southam In the event that you are contacted for a role, please note that as part of the registration process you shall be required to provide FRONTrunner Recruitment Ltd. with proof of identity as well as proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
