Trainee / Graduate Electrical EstimatorLocation: Essex (Office-Based with Training) Salary: Competitive + Full Training + Career Progression + Benefits Launch Your Career with a Growing Electrical Contractor Are you a recent graduate or someone looking to start a rewarding career within the electrical and construction industry? We're working with a well-established and expanding electrical contractor that is looking to recruit a motivated Trainee / Graduate Electrical Estimator. This is an outstanding opportunity to receive hands-on training from experienced professionals while developing a long-term career within a successful business. No previous estimating experience is required—just the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and a keen eye for detail. The RoleWorking alongside experienced Estimators and Project Managers, you will learn how to: • Prepare cost estimates and quotations for electrical projects. • Review technical drawings and specifications. • Measure quantities from plans and tender documents. • Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations. • Assist with tender submissions and project cost analysis. • Liaise with suppliers, clients and internal teams. • Develop an understanding of electrical installations, pricing and commercial processes. Full training and ongoing mentoring will be provided. What We're Looking For • Graduate in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Construction Management or a related discipline (or someone with a genuine interest in the industry). • Strong numerical and analytical skills. • Excellent attention to detail. • Good communication and organisational skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn. • Full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
