Facilities by ADF have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Electrician to join their growing team. Location: Longcross, Surrey,KT16 0EF Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) + Training & Development Opportunities Hours: 45 Hour Week (Inc. paid breaks) About Us: Facilities by ADF plc provides serviced vehicle hire for television and film productions in the UK and Europe, specialising in on-location support for dramas and major features. The group includes Location One (Integrated end to end shoot support) and Autotrak Portable Roadways (temporary access equipment hire) and the role would be working across all three companies to ensure an aligned approach. Due to rapid growth, we are looking to recruit a TraineeElectrician to join our workshop team, to undertake In-House Electrical Training, leading to formal Electrical Engineering qualifications for the right person. The duties will include but are not restricted to, Electrical Installation 240v, Electrical System Testing, Onsite, Battery and Generator installation training with our modern fleet of vehicles and trailers. Trainee Electrician – Will Work towards Main Duties: - Assist qualified electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. - Support electrical works within commercial buildings, workshops, depots, and transport facilities. - Learn to diagnose and resolve electrical faults safely and efficiently. - Assist with testing, inspections, and preventative maintenance. - Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations. - Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment. - Travel to customer sites as and when required Trainee Electrician – Requirements: Essential - A full UK driving licence - A genuine interest in electrical installation and maintenance - Positive attitude with a willingness to learn - Good practical skills and problem-solving ability - Reliable, punctual, and hardworking - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Good communication skills Trainee Electrician – Benefits: - Overtime - 45 Hour Week (Inc. paid breaks) - 29 days holiday (inc bank holidays increasing with each year of service to a max of 33. - Pension - Life Assurance - Free onsite parking - Free Uniform/PPE provided - Informal Reward Scheme - Refer A Friend Scheme To submit your CV for this exciting Trainee Electrician opportunity, please click ‘Apply’ now!
