Trainee Financial Adviser Leeds £30,000 - £35,000 Office Based NJR Recruitment is delighted to be working with a successful and fast-growing Financial Adviser firm in Leeds who are looking to recruit a Trainee Financial Adviser to join their busy and dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual who has already started their journey towards becoming a Financial Adviser and is looking to gain hands-on experience within a thriving financial planning practice. Working alongside experienced Advisers, Paraplanners and Administrators, you'll receive ongoing mentoring and support while developing the technical knowledge, client skills and practical experience needed to build a successful career in financial advice. The Role As a Trainee Financial Adviser, you'll gain exposure to every aspect of the advice process, including: • Supporting Advisers with client meetings and annual reviews • Assisting with financial planning research and recommendation preparation • Building relationships with new and existing clients • Preparing meeting packs and client documentation • Liaising with providers to obtain valuations, illustrations and policy information • Working closely with Paraplanners to develop suitability reports • Learning about pensions, investments, protection, tax planning and retirement strategies • Progressing towards managing your own client relationships as your experience develops No two days will be the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to build a long-term career in financial planning. About You We're looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about becoming a Financial Adviser. Essential Requirements: At least one CII R0 exam successfully completed (working towards the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning) Strong desire to build a career as a Financial Adviser Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional, enthusiastic and eager to learn Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Confident working as part of a busy team Previous experience working in a targeted environment Previous experience within financial services, banking, wealth management or an IFA practice would be advantageous but isn't essential.
