Transport & Warehouse Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Transport & Warehouse Manager to join a well established logistics business specialising in the secure handling of high value goods. Key Responsibilities • Manage daily transport and warehouse operations. • Lead and support a team of drivers and warehouse staff. • Ensure compliance with UK transport legislation, health & safety and security procedures. • Oversee vehicle maintenance, servicing and compliance. • Manage secure storage, inventory control and dispatch operations. • Monitor driver hours and operational performance. • Respond to operational issues and maintain exceptional service standards. • Drive continuous improvements across transport and warehouse operations. Key Skills • Previous experience managing transport and warehouse operations. • Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation and compliance. • Experience working with high-value or secure goods is advantageous. • Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills. • Ability to work calmly under pressure and solve problems effectively. • Full UK driving licence. • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. • Flexible approach to working hours when required.
