Trust & Estates Associate£35,000-£45,000 DOE Join one of the region's longest-established and most respected accountancy firms as they continue an exciting period of growth. We're looking for an experienced Trust & Estates Associate to join a specialist team working with trusts, estates, charities, and private clients. The RoleAs a Trust & Estates Associate, you'll support the Trust Manager in delivering a first-class service to a portfolio of trusts, estates, charities, and private clients. Your responsibilities will include: • Preparing and reviewing trust accounts, inheritance tax returns, and tax computations. • Assisting with the administration of trusts and advising on Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, and Inheritance Tax matters. • Liaising with clients, HMRC, solicitors, banks, and other professional advisers. • Maintaining accurate accounting records and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard. • Providing day-to-day administrative support to help ensure the smooth running of the Trust & Estates team. About You • Experience in trusts and estates administration within an accountancy practice or firm of solicitors. • Strong technical knowledge of trust and estate taxation. • ATT and/or STEP qualification desirable. • Experience with CCH and trust accounting software is advantageous. • Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills. • Accurate, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
