Job description

Individuals will require full GMC Registration and should be post MRCOG. This post is aimed at UK or Overseas trainee obstetricians at ST 5+ level or above. There will be an out of hours component to the job as a senior registrar with responsibility for supervising a more junior SpR on delivery suite and covering gynaecology emergencies. Opportunities will be given to work with the gynaecology oncology team at Whipps Cross in outpatient clinics and theatre. Post holders will be trained in management of gynaecological cancers, hysteroscopy and vulval disease. There will regular theatre sessions. There will also be opportunities to undertake the gynaecology oncology ATSM. Successful candidates will be encouraged to participate in teaching, research, audit and journal club.
