Job description

Time Appointments are working on behalf of a prestigious financial services establishment based in Ipswich, who are recruiting for a Trustee Services Advisor to join their Tax and Trustee Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking client instructions and drafting Wills and LPAs, as well as managing all aspects of estate administration. Key Duties & Responsibilities: • Drafting wills and other documents based on client instructions • Discussing client instructions and answering queries from clients and their advisors through correspondence and meetings. • Handling more complex or technical correspondence when needed. • Keeping accurate records for wills. • Processing payments for will writing services. • Managing queries and correspondence for cancelled or inactive will appointments. • Reviewing existing wills. • Preparing LPAs based on client instructions. • Communicating with clients, their families, and advisors to discuss instructions and answer queries. • Assisting with reviews of existing LPAs. • Managing executorship cases from initial notification of death through to final administration. Skills & Experience Required: • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position, with sound knowledge and understanding of laws surrounding wills and lasting powers of attorney • An Understanding and awareness of opportunities and implications of “post death” tax planning (Deeds of Variation etc). • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deal with and handle sensitive matters • Excellent IT skills, including the use of Microsoft packages and role related software
