Job description

Provide a high standard of customer service to patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals, ensuring all interactions are professional, friendly, and efficient. Process prescription requests accurately and coordinate prescription collections and deliveries to support the safe and timely supply of medicines. Undertake a range of administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records. Support stock management activities by carrying out stock checks, booking in deliveries, and ordering pharmacy consumables to help ensure the smooth running of the pharmacy. Work collaboratively with the wider pharmacy team to resolve queries and maintain an efficient, patient-focused service. Maintain confidentiality and comply with information governance requirements, while adhering to all health and safety, infection prevention, safeguarding, and pharmacy policies. Support the induction and training of apprentices and new team members where required. Take responsibility for completing mandatory training and ongoing professional development, and undertake any additional duties necessary to support the effective operation of the pharmacy service.
