Urban Designer & Masterplanner - Project Consultant

Our Oxford studio is looking for a creative urban designer with around two to five years' experience in the UK and a track record of working on masterplanning projects at a range of scales within the UK planning system. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm for their work and strong design and communication skills with a proven ability and desire to design quality places through deliverable masterplans. We are looking for: • Approximately 2 to 5 years' experience working in the UK on masterplanning and regeneration projects at a range of scales, including new settlements and neighbourhoods, town & city centre transformation, large scale strategic projects and urban regeneration projects. • Strong conceptual urban design and masterplanning design skills • Excellent graphic communication skills with an ability to illustrate ideas clearly • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD and 3-D design packages and hand drawing would be an advantage. • Experience of working with clients and multidisciplinary teams • A qualification in either landscape architecture, architecture, urban design or other related disciplines gained in the UK will be required or ideally a post graduate qualification urban design and demonstrable experience of UK masterplanning • Full UK Driving licence
