Van Driver

Employer: The Recruitment Crowd (recruiting on behalf of an industry-leading client) Location: Washington, NE37 Job Type: Ongoing role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. Pay: • £12.75 per hour (PAYE) Increases to £13.30 per hour after 12 weeks (PAYE) Hours: • 8:00 AM start • 5–6 shifts per week, including weekends Key Responsibilities • Deliver and collect parcels from Parcelshops and Smart Lockers. • Load and unload parcels manually. • Follow planned delivery routes and schedules. • Handle parcels carefully and ensure timely deliveries. • Provide excellent customer service. • Complete delivery paperwork accurately. Requirements • Full UK driving licence. • No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only). • Ability to pass a driving assessment. • Good communication and customer service skills. • Physically fit to load and unload parcels. • Reliable, organised, and able to manage time effectively. • Flexible to work weekends and up to 5–6 shifts per week.
