Vehicle Damage Assessor

We are currently recruiting for the role of Vehicle Damage Assessor on behalf of our client, a well-established independent bodyshop located in Basingstoke. Benefits: • Competitive basic salary up to £50,000 • Monthly bonus of up to £1,000 • Monday to Friday working hours, 8am – 5pm • Only two working Saturdays per year • Modern, brand new site • Independent bodyshop environment with a strong team culture • Opportunities for skill development and career advancement • Supportive, family-friendly working environment Duties of a Vehicle Damage Assessor: • Assessing vehicle damage accurately to determine repair needs • Planning work schedules and ordering parts to ensure timely completion of repairs • Estimating repair costs using industry-standard systems (including Audatex) • Maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of repair processes and estimations • Providing high-quality customer service to foster customer loyalty and referrals • Ensuring high standards of workplace organisation and administration • Collaborating with colleagues to deliver efficient repair services as a Vehicle Damage Assessor Requirements of a Vehicle Damage Assessor : • Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor in a bodyshop environment • ATA qualification or equivalent would be advantageous • ATA current or expired accreditation is acceptable • Experience with Audatex estimation system is essential • Exceptional attention to detail and quality awareness • Strong communication skills • Ability to multi-task efficiently • Customer-focused attitude This role offers an attractive package and the opportunity to work within a forward-thinking independent bodyshop.
