Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable independent garage located in Bromsgrove is actively seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their modern workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking for a stable position in a well-established environment with work hours that support a healthy work-life balance. Benefits: • Basic salary of £37,500 - £42,000, depending on experience • Monday to Friday working hours (8:00am – 5:00pm), with no weekend work • 28 days holiday including bank holidays • Modern, fully-equipped 10-ramp workshop • Supportive team environment within a reputable independent garage • Opportunity to work on a variety of vehicle makes and models Duties of a Vehicle Technician: • Conduct vehicle servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs • Diagnose complex faults using advanced diagnostic equipment • Complete work efficiently and to a high standard as a Vehicle Technician • Perform vehicle health checks and identify additional repair needs • Assist with MOT preparation where required • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment • Complete job cards and workshop documentation accurately Requirements of a Vehicle Technician: • Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair • Confident in clutch and cambelt repairs • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship • Full UK driving licence If you are an experienced Vehicle Technician eager to join a reputable independent garage offering excellent working conditions and professional development, we would like to hear from you.
