Vehicle Technician

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Vehicle Technician in Cambridge, working within a well-established workshop in a respected manufacturer environment. Benefits for the Vehicle Technician: • Competitive basic pay of £38,387, with a strong bonus scheme linked to performance (OTE up to £46,000, depending on experience) • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays • Manufacturer training and ongoing development • Supportive team and structured workshop environment • Long-term career progression with clear processes and targets • Opportunity to work with a well-regarded brand and established colleagues Duties as a Vehicle Technician: • Diagnose and repair vehicle faults to a high standard • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and inspections in line with manufacturer procedures • Complete job cards and related paperwork with quality and accuracy • Support workshop productivity by maintaining tool and parts availability and meeting time targets • Maintain a safe working environment and comply with company and manufacturer standards Requirements of the Vehicle Technician: • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a franchised or similar workshop setting • Strong diagnostics skills and ability to work to manufacturer guidelines • Ideally qualified to Master Technician, MOT Tester, or Technician level • Professional attitude, reliability, and commitment to quality workmanship • Ability to work well within a team while managing own workload effectively • Willingness to continuously develop skills through manufacturer-led training Contact Danielle Axtell Carty, Automotive Recruitment Specialist at Perfect Placement covering Cambridge and Cambridgeshire, today to discover more about this fantastic Vehicle Technician opportunity.
