Vehicle Technician

The Role: Silcom Recruitment are pleased to be supporting a premium automotive retailer based in Farnborough, who are looking to appoint a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their modern aftersales workshop. Responsibilities & Requirements of a Vehicle Technician: Carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs, and vehicle diagnostics to manufacturer standards. Complete vehicle health checks, identifying any additional work required. Use the latest manufacturer diagnostic equipment to accurately diagnose and rectify faults. Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard. Maintain accurate job records and complete all workshop documentation. Work collaboratively within a busy, professional workshop environment. Previous experience within a franchised dealership or independent garage is advantageous. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is preferred. MOT Tester qualification would be advantageous but is not essential. A full UK driving licence is essential. The Package: Salary: £34,272 basic + bonus - £38,000 OTE!! Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm – 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:00am-2:00pm. Modern workshop facilities with up-to-date diagnostic equipment.
