Vehicle Technician

Benefits of a Vehicle Technician: • Basic salary up to £45,000, depending on experience • Monday to Friday working week, with no weekends • Flexible working hours between 8:00am and 6:00pm • Part-time hours available, accommodating work-life balance • Self-employed individuals welcomed • Staff discounts on services and repairs • Opportunity to service and repair your own vehicle • Modern, clean workshop environment with five ramps • Friendly, experienced team offering support and collaboration • Long-standing business with an excellent local reputation Duties of a Vehicle Technician: • Servicing and maintaining customer vehicles to high standards • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults efficiently • Carrying out repairs and routine maintenance • Completing job cards and workshop documentation accurately • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment • Communicating with customers regarding repairs or vehicle issues, where necessary Requirements of a Vehicle Technician: • NVQ/IMI Level 2 or Level 3 qualification preferred; experienced time-served technicians are encouraged to apply • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic • Ability to perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs independently • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills • MOT Tester licence is advantageous but not essential • Full UK Driving Licence This Vehicle Technician role is based in Flitwick and is easily accessible from Bedford, Luton, Milton Keynes, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard, Ampthill, Hitchin, and surrounding areas.
