Vehicle Technician

We are currently recruiting a Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client in Indian Queens. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled and experienced motor trade professional to join a busy dealership and contribute to their expanding service department. The role of Vehicle Technician in Indian Queens offers the chance to work in a modern, well-equipped facility with a reputable employer committed to staff development. Benefits of a Vehicle Technician: • Competitive basic salary of up to £38,000 per annum • Opportunity to work with a reputable dealership recognised for diagnostic repairs • Modern workshop with multiple ramps and an MOT bay • Manufacturer-backed training and ongoing development programmes • Monday to Friday working hours, 08:30 to 17:00 • Saturdays optional and paid as overtime • Friendly, team-oriented environment providing ongoing support • Secure employment with potential for career progression Duties of a Vehicle Technician: • Conduct heavy diagnostic repairs and fault finding on a variety of vehicles • Perform routine servicing and repair work adhering to manufacturer standards • Utilise your Level 3 NVQ qualification to deliver high-quality work • Assist with MOT testing where applicable (MOT licence advantageous but not essential) • Maintain accurate records of all work carried out • Communicate findings effectively to team members and customers • Keep up-to-date with automotive technology and repair techniques Requirements of a Vehicle Technician: • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with a focus on diagnostics • Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance NVQ qualification is essential • MOT licence is desirable but not a requirement • Ideally a heavy diagnostic technician; however, Service Technicians seeking to develop their skills will also be considered • Ability to work efficiently within a busy environment • Good communication skills and a professional attitude • A proactive approach to continual learning and development If you are an experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a secure and rewarding role within a thriving business, this opportunity is ideal.
