Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Vehicle Technician in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals seeking a senior role within a well-established independent garage. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and technical expertise in a busy workshop environment. Benefits of a Vehicle Technician: • Up to £35,000 Basic Salary plus bonus, with an OTE of £38,000 • Senior position involving leadership responsibilities • Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm, with every third Saturday morning (8:30am – 12:30pm) • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays • On-site parking • Family-friendly working environment • Supportive team atmosphere in a reputable independent garage • Access to specialist workshop tools and technical resources Duties of a Vehicle Technician: • Lead and support a team of mechanics within the workshop, providing technical guidance and mentorship • Complete routine service and maintenance tasks including brakes, suspension, clutches, and timing belts or chains • Conduct mechanical and electrical diagnostics on a variety of makes and models • Assist in prioritising and organising workshop workflow • Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service • Ensure health and safety compliance within the workshop environment Requirements of a Vehicle Technician: • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems • Ability to lead and support a team of mechanics • Competent in performing servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and electrical fault finding • Enthusiastic attitude with a desire for continuous professional development • Positive and proactive approach to work • Passionate about working with all vehicle brands • Ideally based locally in or near Great Missenden, Prestwood, or High Wycombe Whether you are a MOT Tester, Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician, or Master Technician seeking a rewarding career, this Vehicle Technician role offers excellent prospects for growth and development.
