This role offers excellent earning potential, ongoing manufacturer training, and the chance to work within a modern workshop environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on customer vehicles. • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment. • Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional repair requirements. • Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer and company standards. • Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation. • Work efficiently to achieve productivity and efficiency targets. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment. • Support colleagues and contribute to overall workshop performance. Candidate RequirementsEssential • Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Diagnostic Technician. • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities. • Full UK driving licence. • Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Desirable • MOT Tester qualification. • Franchise dealership experience. • Hybrid and EV qualifications. • Manufacturer accreditation.
