Vehicle Washer

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented vehicle cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out appropriate cleaning and disinfecting of lorries, tractors, trailers and surrounding areas. To also ensure carriers are clean before they are loaded back onto transport, taking appropriate action to clean carriers if not up to standards. Responsibilities • Washing the trailers and lorries/tractors of poultry intake within the Lairage department. • Disinfecting trailers, lorries and surrounding areas. • Area washdowns and clean up. • Any other reasonable duties as requested by a manager and commensurate with the work level and own ability. • Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks. • Ensuring good standards of cleaning and disinfecting. Skills • Great attention to detail and organisational skills. • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment. • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
