We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our brand new independent practice. We welcome full time or part time applications, making it ideal for someone who values flexibility while still being part of a committed, supportive team.
As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, calm, and organised environment. If you love helping people, enjoy working with animals, and thrive in a busy front of house role, we’d love to hear from you.

• Client care - greeting clients, managing check-ins, and offering reassurance during stressful moments
• Phone and email management - booking appointments, triaging queries and co-ordinating with clinical staff
• Administrative support - maintaining records, processing payments, and keeping the reception area running smoothly
• Team collaboration - supporting vets and nurses to ensure seamless client and patient flow
What we’re looking for
• Excellent communication and a calm, friendly manner
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to multi-task
• Confidence using practice management software (training provided)
• A genuine love for animals and empathy for their owners
• Reliability, positivity, professionalism and a team focused attitude
• Previous experience in the veterinary industry would be useful but not essential
What we offer
• A supportive and close-knit team in a truly independent practice
• Opportunities to grow your skills and responsibilities
• Competitive pay, staff discount, private health insurance and well-being support
• A workplace where your contribution genuinely matters
• 6 weeks annual holiday, plus an annual volunteer day and long service holiday bonus
Pay: From £13.45 per hour
Benefits:
• Employee discount
• On-site parking
• Paid volunteer time
• Private medical insurance
• Sick pay
Work Location: In person
