Job description

VNA Driver Our client is a well-established lighting wholesaler based in Manchester specialising in the wholesale distribution of a wide range of high-quality lighting products. They supply retailers, multinational organisations, and commercial partners across the UK and internationally. Due to continued business growth, they are looking to recruit experienced VNA Drivers to join their busy warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a successful and expanding company that values reliability, teamwork, and high standards of customer service. Key Responsibilities As a VNA Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Your duties will include: • Safely operating a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) truck to move and store stock throughout the warehouse. • Picking customer orders accurately using pick sheets and handheld scanners where required. • Replenishing stock into designated warehouse locations. • Packing, labelling, and preparing customer orders for dispatch. • Loading and unloading deliveries when required. • Carrying out stock movements and assisting with inventory checks. • Conducting daily pre-use equipment checks and reporting any faults or defects. • Following all warehouse health and safety procedures at all times. • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment. • Supporting colleagues with general warehouse duties to ensure daily targets are achieved. The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will have: • A valid, in-date VNA licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT, or equivalent). • Previous experience operating a VNA truck within a fast-paced warehouse environment. • Experience with order picking, stock control, and warehouse operations. • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. • Good communication and organisational skills. • A positive, flexible, and reliable approach to work. • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • A strong commitment to health and safety and safe working practices.
